| I wonder what Snowball is thinking |
We received thirty-five chicks November 1, 2012, all except two are female. (we hope anyway) The breeds we chose are Araucana, Plymouth Rock, Buff Orpington, and Rhode Island Red. We have always kept Araucana chickens because we love the colored eggs. We decided a variety of chickens would best suit our needs.

Upon arrival day the chicks have been smothered with attention. The first weeks I hand fed them several times a day therefore they think I'm mom.

This group has lots of personality and is extremely friendly. I thought I would share these chicken photos.
I love your little chickens. I can't wait to get mine either. I think I am going to order some chicks in April. I want a similar variety as yours except I have decided to add some Silver Lace Wyandotte's as well.
